Let’s go on an adventure!

Hi, I’m Marielle! I am a Swedish-American anthropologist and poet currently based in Barcelona, Spain. My deep desire for learning about our beautiful world has given me the privilege to travel to dozens of countries across multiple continents, make a home in 8 different nations in the past 17 years, and even become a certified travel advisor. Planning budget-friendly trips full of adventure, culture, and hidden gems is my passion, and I’m excited to share some of my experiences with you.

Gain purpose with a plan

Do you want to travel but you feel overwhelmed by all the options? Are you scared you won’t be able to navigate this new foreign location? I have been there, and what always gave me confidence, purpose, and the ability to turn those nerves into excitement was a carefully researched itinerary. With my tested itineraries in your inbox, all that careful research is at your fingertips to give you the final push to buy that flight ticket.

Widen your horizons

I believe every place has something unique and wonderful to offer. Over the 60 countries I’ve visited, I have gained such valuable insight into the local culture, customs, and hidden gems. My background in anthropology helps me tune in to the local atmosphere and my insatiable curiosity leads me down a lot of random rabbitholes. So let me lead you to places you may never have considered visiting! Let’s see how far we can stretch that horizon.

Learn from my experiences

I am no perfect traveler. Even though I obsessively research and plan my trips, there are always so many valuable lessons (and inevitable mishaps) along the way. In these itineraries I will share what went well, what went wrong, and what I would do differently so that you can learn from me when you set out into the world.

Dear adventurer, I can’t wait for all the incredible moments we will create!
